Sarawak Shell LiveWIRE
Through a partnership collaboration with Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Bumiputera Sarawak (TEGAS), the LiveWIRE programme is able to give more to deserving Sarawakian entrepreneurs.
The Sarawak Shell LiveWIRE program started in 2016 and has seen entrepreneurs from Kuching, Bintulu, and Miri participate and go on to become winners. Below are some of their stories.
Zaid Ibrahim of SutraDesign, a Miri-based corporate merchandising and apparel provider, through the LiveWIRE programme and further coaching, is now able to service multinational corporations based in Sarawak.
Khairool Adzelan, founder of Codelab, runs his coding school out of iCom Square in Kuching, where he provides coding and programming lessons to the public of all ages.
In 2017, the Sarawak Shell LiveWIRE programme became proud partners with Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Bumiputera Sarawak (TEGAS), aligning the efforts of Shell Malaysia and the Sarawak State Government to grow the Sarawakian economy.
Since then, winners of the Sarawak Shell LiveWIRE programme receive an additional RM5,000 in their startup seed grant and the Sarawak Shell LiveWIRE programme is now based in the TEGAS Digital Innovation Hub in iCom Square.
