LiveWIRE is open to driven Malaysian entrepreneurs eager to elevate their innovative business ideas. Whether you're in the ideation phase, operating a startup, or ready to scale your business, our programme is designed to support your entrepreneurial journey.
How it Works
Joining the Shell LiveWIRE programme is a journey of growth, learning, and transformation. Here’s how you can be a part of this exciting venture:
Step 1 - Application
Complete the online application form. Tell us about your innovative business idea, your team, and how you plan to make a difference.
Step 2 - Selection
Your application will be evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, impact potential, and alignment with the LiveWIRE objectives. The top 30 enterprises from each region (Sarawak, Sabah, and Peninsular Malaysia) will be shortlisted to participate in the programme.
Step 3 - Bootcamp
Shortlisted candidates will attend a 5-day bootcamp packed with workshops designed to refine your business model, enhance your entrepreneurial skills, and prepare you for the road ahead.
Step 4 - Bootcamp Demo Day
At the end of the bootcamp, 10 businesses from each location will be selected to present their business plans at the Bootcamp Demo Day. The Top 5 winners at each Bootcamp Demo Day will be awarded an initial seed grant of RM10,000 to help develop their ideas further.
Step 5 - Accelerator
Selected businesses enter a 3-month Accelerator Programme. Here, you’ll receive in-depth mentoring and participate in masterclasses tailored to your business needs.
Step 6 - Accelerator Demo Day
The programme culminates with Demo Days, where you present your refined business plan. Five outstanding businesses will receive additional seed grants of RM30,000.
Step 7 - Continuous Support
Your journey doesn’t end post-programme. As part of the Shell LiveWIRE alumni, you'll continue to have access to networking opportunities and connect with a global community of innovators.

Shell LiveWIRE 2023 awards five enterprises as its national winners
Kuala Lumpur – Shell awarded five enterprises as grand winners of Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia 2023 at its national awards ceremony, which took place today at Wisma Shell. The event was officiated by YB Datuk Ewon Benedick, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives of Malaysia, who also presented the winners their prizes.
