The Sabah Shell LiveWIRE programme started in 2015 and has seen entrepreneurs from all walks of life, with businesses in various industries, coming from as far away as Kunak, Kota Belud, and even Kudat.

Through the guidance of our mentors and referrals to select government agencies, our Sabah Shell LiveWIRE winners have had support to further market their products up to an international level. And on select circumstances, Shell LiveWIRE winners can apply for additional grants through the Shell LiveWIRE programme too!

Deanna Majigoh, founder of Kazu Furniture in Putatan, was one of the pioneering batch of entrepreneurs in the 2015 Sabah Shell LiveWIRE programme. In addition to the mentoring and coaching which she has been receiving since completing the programme, she was invited to apply for a ‘Let’s Go Trade’ grant.

Through the grant, Deanna got the opportunity to visit Melbourne, Australia, seeking inspiration from an international furniture fair, visiting a manufacturer of contemporary furniture to determine how she should expand, and even meeting senior leaders of PappaRich in Singapore, to see if her furnitures can be included as part of a brand’s franchising and identity.
